Digital Marketing Manager (Remote)

Monica + Andy is looking for an experienced, creative and analytical Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be the owner of Monica + Andy’s overall strategy and execution of our marketing efforts across social and Google platforms. You will lead cross-functional teams of peers and external partners to achieve a high level of performance marketing.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the end to end customer experience from paid acquisition to website experience (mobile and desktop)

  • Manage day-to-day operation and optimization of growth marketing channels, including paid search and social 

  • Build and continuously optimize paid social campaigns to support Monica + Andy’s growing product line, managing the day-to-day campaign strategy and implementation

  • Manage the strategy and day-to-day operations for Google channels, including Paid Search and Shopping, with a focus on scaling revenue volume while hitting ROAS goals

  • Track and organize campaign details, KPIs, and media spend across platforms

  • Own monthly budgeting and goal setting across campaign categories, in line with business Revenue and ROAS goals

  • Rigorously test ad copy, landing pages, visual assets, audience targeting, and other variables to improve performance of ad spend

  • Work directly with the Head of Data Science & Analytics to report on marketing performance and drive actionable insights to be presented to and used cross-functionally

  • Manage the day-to-day reporting of all growth marketing efforts, highlighting successes, failures, trends, and opportunities; includes building functional dashboards to clearly communicate performance to cross-functional teams and leadership

  • Present data-backed learnings and recommendations to senior leadership in order to drive growth in paid channels

  • Collaborate with in-house creative and brand teams to improve efficiency, tailor content and copy, and scale across platforms

  • Identify and drive new game-changing performance marketing opportunities to further scale the business and improve efficiencies

  • Manage relationships with Facebook / Instagram / Google partners and continuously learn about the algorithm updates


The Digital Marketing Manager will be dedicated to the growth of Monica + Andy’s e-commerce business, primarily focused on the acquisition and retention of customers through paid search and social efforts. The ideal candidate has:

  • 3+ years of experience working for an e-commerce / digitally native brand
  • Expertise in acquisition and retention marketing, with deep knowledge of paid search and social platforms (e.g. Google, Facebook/Instagram)

  • Previous experience managing SEM and Google Shopping campaigns

  • Growth focus - goes hard after goals and doesn't settle

  • An analytical mindset – understands that testing every assumption is vital to success, but accurately measuring and interpreting the results is just as important

  • Strong communication skills – able to effectively communicate performance, learnings, and ideas to team members at every level of the organization

  • Leadership ability - can effectively own paid ad efforts, influencing key decisions through data-backed insights and engaging team members to execute upon strategies

  • Curiosity and willingness to try new things, work in a fast-paced environment, and never settle for the status quo

  • Self-starter mentality – ability to independently develop and execute upon performance marketing strategies with little guidance

More practical skills needed:

  • 3-5 years of digital / growth marketing experience 

  • Experience managing paid campaigns, preferably in a start-up e-commerce environment

  • Experience managing paid search and paid social programs end-to-end - from campaign execution, to landing page optimization, to reporting and performance analysis

  • In-platform execution experience setting up campaigns in Google ads manager

  • Highly analytical with an ability to pull insights from data and make recommendations accordingly

  • Experience with Google Analytics

  • Experience with A/B/MV tests tools/frameworks.

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Advanced skills creating wireframes and functional/interaction specifications (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus)

  • Strong experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript is a plus

  • BA/BS or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field
